Orientation Coordinator: Brendon Ada

Hello! My name is Brendon Ada, I am serving as the Orientation Coordinator for Family & Transfers for Fall 2022 Orientation. I’m a rising senior, pursuing Screenwriting at Dodge College of Film & Media Arts. This will be my second Orientation Week as a part of the team and I could not be more excited to meet y’all. A little about me, I was born in Guam (a small island in the south Pacific) but grew up in Irvine, so Chapman has always been in my backyard. My dad went to Chapman way back when and my sister is a current student. Pete the Panther is officially a member of our family. I transferred to Chapman from a local community college in fall of 2020 and have been enjoying it ever since. I will be working to create an enjoyable orientation experience for families and transfer students. One event I am super excited about is the Candle Lighting Ceremony, it’s a heart-warming event for families and their students. If I could offer a piece of advice: enjoy Orientation, step out of your comfort zone; who knows, maybe you’ll make a friend or two. I met some of my closest friends at Orientation. Whether you are a first year, transfer student, commuter, or continuing student, it is my hope that you find a home here at Chapman. We are here to support you, acclimate you to your university, and connect you with the community. If you have any questions, please reach out to us! Again, I could not be more excited to welcome the incoming class of Panthers! Rawr!
