This is a mandatory session that will build upon We Are Chapman: Exploring Identity, Empathy, and Community to continue reflection and discussion about diversity, equity and inclusion on a college campus. Through videos, short activities and discussion, Orientation Leaders will ask you to think about the interpersonal dynamics of diversity, the complexity of identity, and the importance of being inclusive of those with identities that are unlike your own. In addition, you will learn about all the departments, clubs and programs that exist to advance diversity and inclusion at Chapman. Your knowledge in these areas is vital for building a welcoming campus climate for all Chapman students.

Becoming a Healthy Panther

This mandatory session continues the content covered during your online module. Dr. Dani Smith, Director of PEER and Health Education, will present content on interpersonal and relationship violence prevention as well as information regarding Chapman University’s sexual misconduct response. This component will discuss Federal, State and Local laws regarding consent and intimacy and also educate students about the reporting process.

This is a mandatory session that will build upon We Are Chapman: Exploring Identity, Empathy, and Community to continue reflection and discussion about diversity, equity and inclusion on a college campus. Through videos, short activities and discussion, Orientation Leaders will ask you to think about the interpersonal dynamics of diversity, the complexity of identity and the importance of being inclusive of those with identities that are unlike your own. In addition, you will learn about all the departments, clubs and programs that exist to advance diversity and inclusion at Chapman. Your knowledge in these areas is vital for building a welcoming campus climate for all Chapman students.

Becoming a Healthy Panther

This mandatory session continues the content covered during your online module. Dr. Dani Smith, Director of PEER and Health Education, will be presenting content on interpersonal and relationship violence prevention as well as information regarding Chapman University’s sexual misconduct response. This component will discuss Federal, State and Local laws regarding consent and intimacy and educate students about the reporting process.

Fitness and Recreation Services invites you to join Fitness Session Leader, Sabrina, for a live Zumba session on Zoom. Sunday, August 30 at 10am. The class combines dance moves with Latin and international music. This all-levels routine is a fun and easy way to get in both cardio and muscle toning. Meet other new students and get active before the Fall semester begins!
