Welcome new Panthers!! Almost four decades ago, I arrived at Chapman College as a new foreign student from Africa. I was only supposed to stay for four years and go back to Nigeria after obtaining my degree. However, along the way, through thick and thin, through sunshine and snow, I fell in love with Chapman… I went on to get my first and second degrees at Chapman. I got married at Chapman Chapel. My children went to the Chapman’s Childcare Center. And today, I’ve worked at Chapman for almost 30 years. Once again, welcome new Panthers. I hope and pray you find your place here and go on to establish your solid foundation for the rest of your lives. Please always remember that you are not alone. Indeed, feel free to reach out to your fellow peers, faculty members, staff and/or administrators. God bless you all.
