Rafael Bayona

Isa and Class of 2024,

Many say how challenging and sad this situation brings, that you and many others will be missing out on traditional experiences. If you really think about it, tradition is overrated. The one thing this pandemic brings is that you and all other freshmen get to create your own traditions and your own path. A path that no other class have taken. It means doing things and having fun in a different way,

adapting to new things, taking and creating new opportunities. Opportunities that wouldn’t be there if

you were in another time. Between tradition and trailblazing, which would you choose? I remember a quote, “Those who say it can’t be done are usually interrupted by others doing it.”

Think about these words. Know your purpose, your why, and be the best you can be under any circumstance. All while having fun doing it.

We love you!
