Orientation Coordinator: Valerie Mendez

I am a Sociology major with minors in Dance, Creative/Cultural Industries, and the Honors Program. Being a commuter from Anaheim, CA has been such a rewarding part of my experience here at Chapman, and hopefully will also be for incoming commuter students! I work in Residence Life at Chapman Grand as the Programs Student Assistant and am devoted to being involved in clubs such as Camp Kesem, Pre-Law Society, and Chapman Dance Alliance. Chapman is such an amazing place to foster so many of your ambitions and create meaningful connections along the way. Being an Orientation Leader during the fall semester was the highlight of my year, and I am so eager to welcome you as new students to the Chapman family as an Orientation Coordinator. Within my respective role, I will oversee various special events such as commuter programming, Fall Kick-Off, Chapman After Dark, We Are Chapman, and many more that you will all get the pleasure of experiencing.
